Kate Goth

Founder and Director

Kate is our founder and Main facilitator. Having worked in the Totnes community with families and children for 20 years, Kate has a wealth of qualifications in childcare and education, supporting families and management plus vital connections and experiences which she draws upon. She is passionate about supporting people in connecting to nature as she has first hand experience in the benefits to mental health. Kate’s vision is to bring Humans back to the understanding that we are of nature, not separate from it, to build a relationship of reciprocity and well being for people and the land. She says “We are living in difficult times, I see the impact of this on mental health, the fallout of that and I know that the answer lies in creating moments of connection and peace for people to come back to themselves. My connection to Nature saved me, I feel called to bridge that gap for other people so they can find a bit more of what they need to move beyond just surviving and into thriving. Frustrated by the cost of the ‘health and wellness’ industry I want people to be able to access what they need at an affordable price while ensuring facilitators get fair pay. It feels wrong to me that people are priced out of supporting their mental health and also from offering support.”

Kate has been running workshops, circles and retreats successfully within the community for 3 years through her work as a witch (aka thewitchwench) acting as an envoy for nature and mentor in traditional witchcraft practices.

Co-founder and Director of Operations

With a background in the field, and having experienced her own struggles, Cara is passionate about doing work that feels meaningful, makes a difference and gives back to the community. Cara brings a wealth of experience as an Operations Manager from her work with another successful CIC in the area. As a mother of young twins and adult step-children she sees the impact a lack of resources and support for parents and families who are struggling to survive. She believes in our value of making support available and accessible for all those who need it.

Cara’s beautiful brain is uniquely wired to see big pictures, small details and patterns and bring it all together into harmonious structures.

Our Non-executive Board

Rewylding is also supported by regular meetings with a non-executive board who add a wide variety of skills and experiences to help keep us on track and steer Rewylding to it’s main objectives.
